Working in Partnership with Guernsey Electricity JN Civils are proud to have completed a critical network reinforcement scheme providing increased power and supply assurity to the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
Our contract involved the installation of over 5.5km of open cut trenching works with a twin 33kVA circuit and associated communication cable running the full length of the route and a duct installation for a second twin circuit for over 3lm. The scheme comprised of 4000m agricultural installation & 1500m in highway, the works also cross sports facilities including rugby pitches and a golf course.
Our scope included excavation, ducting, reinstatement, cable pull, jointing & terminations, fibre installation, splicing & termination
The works commenced in August 2023 and were completed February 2024 in line with our delivery programme and some 6 months of our client’s requirements.
