Responsibilities
- Liaise with local authorities to arrange all permits needed to complete the scheduled works
- Process electronic permit notifications such as closures, registrations and modifications in line with NRSWA requirements
- Maintain close working relationships with local authorities and the client
- Communicate with the JN Civils Site Managers and Co-Ordinator to ensure Reinstatement and Site clear are complete
- Communicating on a daily basis with the Operatives on site for progress updates
- Update job status on the client’s portal
- Work with the JNC Site Managers and Teams to ensure Section 74 are avoided
- Co-ordination of defect management from start to finish
- Any other administrative duties related to your business area as requested by your line manager
Experience
- Experience working for a civil engineering company or Principal Contractor, particularly in street works would be beneficial but is not essential
- Experience in an Administrative role
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced role
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced Contract Environment
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with working on Microsoft Office packages with advanced skills on Microsoft Excel
- Experience working on bespoke systems
Salary negotiable based on industry and role experience.
